  • Direct strategic development and management of the organization's international travel department, overseeing $15M+ in travel expenses annually.

COMCAST ARENA - Global Spectrum

  • Consulted and managed events for a 6,000-seat arena and conference center, working with clients, exhibit managers, promoters, convention representatives concerning physical setup needs, requirements and expectations for their events.

  • Provided event staffing for operations, audio/visual, telecommunications, conversions, housekeeping, engineering, security, catering, box office and guest services.

  • Created and prepared detailed AutoCAD drawings, layouts, diagrams, instructions, setup requirements for each event and distributed to appropriate staff.

  • Conducted inspections of facilities to ensure that event plans were properly followed for events and enforced compliance with applicable fire, building, safety codes and laws.

  • Settled event invoices with clients for the costs of services provided.

2000-2006

  • Created and managed Central Washington University's event management program for university clients and events.

  • Developed a digital asset management system for equipment tracking, supply management, invoicing and production of statistical reports of assets, production hours, and media usage.

  • Developed and provided technical training to students, faculty, and outside clients, on how to use and troubleshoot audio-visual equipment, lighting equipment, multi-media equipment, and advised on best general event layout and protocols.

  • Taught educational courses on event management, including audio design, lighting design, venue layout, supervisor leadership, and other event related courses.
